Privacy Policy

Bedbolt (“the App”) is developed by the Bedbolt team (“we”). This policy explains what data the App handles and why.
Data we process
- Account. The App does not require an account. We do not collect your name, email, or phone number unless you contact us.
- App data stored on your device. Alarms, tasks, workouts, streaks and settings are stored locally on your device. Photos taken for missions are reduced to a tiny thumbnail or classified on your device and are never uploaded. Your morning log (how you felt, tags and notes) and your pet stay on your device.
- Purchases. Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and purchase receipts, not your name or payment details.
- Analytics. The App does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. If that changes, we will update this policy before the release that adds them.
- Advertising attribution. If you installed the App after tapping an Apple Ads ad, Apple's AdServices framework may provide us an attribution token. It does not identify you.
- Permissions. Alarms (AlarmKit) so the alarm rings on time, including in Silent mode and Focus; Camera for photo, barcode and object-hunt missions; Motion & Fitness for walking, squat and shake missions; Microphone and Speech Recognition for read-aloud missions (speech is processed on your device when your iPhone supports it, otherwise by Apple's speech service under Apple's privacy policy; audio is never recorded or stored by us); NFC to read the tag you register; Notifications only for reminders you turn on.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not use health, fitness or photo data for advertising. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Data retention and deletion
Data stored on your device is deleted when you delete the App. To request deletion of any server-side purchase records, email support@bedbolt.app.
Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the date above.
